Description
This is one of my students favorite lessons of the year! They talk about it all year long! In this lesson students watch the 2014 Sainsbury's Christmas Advertisement on the Christmas Truce of 1914. This lesson serves two purposes, 1) it teaches students about the Christmas Truce and 2) it has students evaluate the trustworthiness of different sources. Students love the video and the discussion it provokes.
