Description

This resource for the FANTASTIC book written by Chiam Potok, is a Common Core aligned chapter-by-chapter inference question bundle. These questions can be used as independent work or as a springboard for classroom discussions. I have used these resources in my classroom with great success, and my suggestion would be to assign the questions for homework, and then use the students' answers to begin a discussion. As students answer and discuss these questions, they should also be asking their own questions. This practice can be modeled by a teacher or leader in the classroom. These questions have been used with special needs learners as well as with highly motivated and independent learners in my AP English Lit classroom both with great success.
