Description

Maybe you are…

Looking for some easy plans that meets the standards…?

Want to expand your students’ learning based on this book…?

Running short on planning time…?

Are a substitute and have been provided with these plans…?

If so, you are in the right place!! Your 'Day in K' is taken care of for you! This book companion offers eight Kindergarten standards based, unique worksheets that accompany the book, The Big Orange Splot, by Daniel Manus Pinkwater. It covers language arts, math, STEM, social/emotional, and art.

Only piece that you need to do is print these worksheets off before the day begins. Even better…print them off WAY in advance for you to access for that occasional emergency situation.

All of the worksheets/lessons have two levels of directions…one that is ‘short & sweet’ for experienced teachers and one that gives a more thorough explanation for beginner teachers or substitutes. It’s your choice of which level to follow! Each lesson, Kindergarten standard and worksheet have an icon in the corner to match up, so you know the directions and standards that coordinate to each worksheet. After that the day is yours to enjoy!!
