This Thanksgiving Cornucopia activity is a quick, fun, and low prep writing craft for your students. Students can write, draw, and color in what they are thankful for. Printable and digital versions included.
For students who need more support around identifying what they’re thankful for, we’ve included a suggestion box, 7 categories to strike ideas, and examples.
Student creativity: The activity allows for lots of student creativity and can fill up any amount of time you need. There is space for students to write, draw, cut and paste pictures from magazines or online, as well as some visual cards they can color in, cut out, and decorate their cornucopias.
Differentiation options: There are multiple levels for student responses in the cornucopia craft itself to journal worksheets. From a word bank, to visual options for choosing what they’re thankful for (these are editable options too!), to full paragraph text.
Ideas for use: You can use this resource in a multitude of ways:
