• describing the impact certain sentences (e.g. dialogue) have in the story 

♥ use text features and search tools (i.e. subheadings/section titles, keywords, sidebars, picture captions, labels, and line numbers) to answer questions about an informational text.  This includes:

• using subheadings to determine what a section is about and where to look for specific information
• determining what kinds of information can be found using specific text features, and the reason why an author uses such text features
