This is a great resources to using to practice finding text evidence with part a and part b questions!

Description

Looking to give students practice with Part A Part B reading comprehension questions with supporting text evidence? These short passages and questions are multiple choice, rigorous, and give students practice choosing the best text evidence when more than one is plausible. They're a great state test prep resource, as students practice the tricky Part A Part B comprehension question test format.

This set includes 12 two-page passages with 4 part A part B comprehension questions with each passage. The passage is duplicated on the second page of the passage for front-to-back copying, keeping students from flipping the page back and forth when finding and highlighting their text evidence. An answer key is included.

Included in this set:

3 fictional passage, 1 myth, a how-to on making chocolate, 4 biographies (Thomas Jefferson, Barack Obama, Amelia Earhart, Roberto Garza Jr.), Brazil, Egyptian Pyramids, and the Stanley Cup.

SKILLS INCLUDED: text evidence, characters, narrator, setting, character traits, words in context, inferences and drawing conclusions, recalling key details, author’s purpose, character changes, and genres.
