Terry Fox Flip Book Distance Learning

Are your partcipating in the “National Run Day” this year? Even if you're not, Terry Fox is an important figure in Canada and around the world. He truly is a Canadian Hero. Have students research and then respond in this Terry Fox Flip Book.

Please note that this is a digital activity using TPT's Digital Activity Tool - this is not the same as being made for Google, Google Forms or Google Slides. Please ask any questions prior to purchasing.

This is a four page flip book. First, have students cut on the dotted lines to create the 4 pages. Second, have students assemble the book. To assemble, I have students stack pages from largest to smallest. So “X” is on the bottom, followed by the “no letter page”, then the “O” and finally the “F”. It is held together with a couple of staples along the side near the “F”. It will look just like the sample on the cover page of this product. Instructions with diagrams is included in the file.

Show a video, read aloud books or have students research on the internet to find information to respond to the prompts printed on each page.

Students are asked:

1) Who is Terry Fox?

2) What did Terry Fox do?

3) What is his contribution to society?

4) Who are you running for?
