Teaching Calendar sklls and Personal Scheduling-Activity Set
- PPTX
Description
This activity set can be used to teach students how to read and analyze personal calendars, work schedules, calculate hours worked, lunch menus, and bell schedules. Currently, this is used in a high school life skills classroom to teach vocational skills, daily living skills, and organization. Based on my experience, students' ability to organize and analyze schedules and calendars can be a difficult task, but it is a critical skill for increased independence beyond the classroom. These activities can be related to school schedules and tasks as well as vocational tasks and activities.
