This could be a fun way to engage and introduce the poetry unit or teach parody if you teach students who love rap music. The students could analyze the lyrics and identify different examples of poetic devices. I was challenged by my students to create a parody and this was my example. I thought about the issues I have with my students' sayings, bullying, and dress code. I hope you enjoy.
