Description
Bring the excitement of Family Feud to your next teacher seminar or faculty party with this fun game! This game includes everything you need to host your own Family Feud game – a teacher-friendly version of the classic TV game show.
Break the ice in-between talks by having two teams compete against each other. Teachers will love the fast-paced excitement of trying to guess the answers to survey questions in this fun, competitive game. Perfect for any party or seminar, Family Feud for Teachers will bring plenty of laughs and friendly competition to your gathering.
The host can input the team names at the beginning of the game while in the slideshow. This template also includes a Fast Money round at the end, where the host or PowerPoint operator can input each player's answer and add the point values. Fast Money round also then reveals them on the final scoreboard to see if they have reached the 200 points required to win just like the real game show!
This Family Feud game already includes:
- 3 rounds with normal, double and triple points
- 1 Fast Money round for 2 players
Sample survey questions are as follows:
- Name A Reason A Kid Might Get Sent Home From School.
- Which Trait Of A Good Teacher Would Also Be Important For A Good Con Man?
- How Do Teachers Make Sure Parents Find Out That Their Kid Failed A Test.
This template is editable and user-friendly so you can easily adapt it to your needs!
Q: How can I play Family Feud with my students/staff?
Playing Family Feud with your students can be a fun and engaging activity. Here are several ways you can adapt the game to suit your needs:
1. Traditional Format: Divide your players into two teams and assign a captain for each team. The team captains take turns guessing the most popular answers, and the team with the highest score wins.
2. Virtual: If you're conducting remote or online classes, you can still play Family Feud virtually. Use video conferencing platforms like Zoom or Google Meet and share your screen to display the survey questions. Players can use the chat feature or unmute themselves to provide answers.
3. Tournament Style: Organize a series of Family Feud games in your class, keeping track of points for each team. After several rounds, the teams with the highest scores compete in a final showdown to determine the ultimate winner.
4. Group Variation: Divide your players into small groups, ideally with four to six members in each group. Each group will need a mini whiteboard and a marker. Give them a designated time, such as 60 seconds, to discuss and come up with an answer as a group. When all the groups are ready, ask them to hold up/exchange their whiteboards simultaneously to correct/display their answers. If any group has the correct answer, award them a point. You can also award partial points for partially correct answers or creative responses.
