Description

This te reo Māori Seasons, Months & Days of the Week, is a free downloadable resource, but works best to add depth to the visual learning within Paitu's Seasonal Wheel – an illustrated learning resource designed as a circular calendar.

  • Features art based on the Southern Hemisphere seasons.
  • Encourages tamariki to visually observe how each season flows into the next, in an ongoing cycle of nature, and passing of time.
  • It is designed with te reo Māori months, seasons and days of the week, helping to bring these kupu / words into every day use and strengthen learning in te reo Māori.

Both the perpetual calendar and this free resource are designed to use alongside a maramataka to deepen learning – for both children and adults alike!
