    Description

"There is more in you of good than you know, child of the kindly West."

(from the last conversation between Thorin Oakenshield and Bilbo Baggins)

    WHY "THE HOBBIT"?

"The Hobbit" by J.R.R. Tolkien is an extraordinary novel, and if you're here, you probably think so too. Not only does it offer a captivating, exciting, funny, and at times even touching story, but it also takes the reader on a real journey of growth, hand in hand with its protagonist, Bilbo Baggins. That's why it's always an exceptional read for middle and high school students!

Bilbo's adventure with the dwarves pushes him out of his comfort zone, introducing him to unexpected challenges. Through this journey, he learns courage and sacrifice; he gets to know himself deeper and finds true friends; eventually, he rediscovers the taste for everyday life. In short, he grows!

Engaging students with this novel provides a platform for their individual and group development, fostering growth as readers and individuals.
