Every pack has something different to offer, introducing activities that can be used for a variety of TED Talks. The more activity packs you choose, the more ideas you’ll have in your back pocket for future use!

Key Features

  • SAVE PRECIOUS TIME -  Follow the easy instructions and have your TED Talk lesson ready in minutes.

  • BE PREPARED TO FILL ANY GAP - How you customize the lesson is up to you! You can choose from a combination of complementary activities to fill in just as much time as you need.

  • PROVIDE VALUE FOR ALL YOUR STUDENTS - Each worksheet has three sections: WATCH the students follow along, TALK about key points in the video, and help your students REFLECT on the significance of the talk in their own life. Three levels help your students to bridge the ability gap in your classroom.

  • NOURISH YOUR STUDENTS’ CURIOSITY - A variety of questions inspired by Bloom’s Taxonomy are designed to develop critical thinking and understanding because they encourage students to engage with the material in a variety of ways.

  • DEVELOP CORE COMPETENCIES THROUGH A SOCIAL CURRICULUM - Each TED Talk Activity Pack is grounded within the British Columbia Core Competencies. These competencies are divided into three broad categories: Communication, Thinking, and Personal and Social. Providing opportunities for the students to interact with one another and connect their ideas with the world is essential for their development.
