This Animated Algebra interactive video in EXE format is a fully-animated 6.5 minute story problem with 4 multiple choice questions and answers. The files can be downloaded onto a PC or Mac.

The story problem "Tanya's Book Binge" is about a girl named Tanya who wants to buy a bunch of books to read during the upcoming school break. The books cost $5 apiece at the book fair at the gym and $4 apiece at the library book fair. Tanya has $45 to spend and she wants at least 10 books. She uses a System of Linear Equations to figure out all of her gym/library purchase options.

The Animated Algebra series of interactive educational films was created by animator/educator Karen Lithgow to teach Algebra I concepts in a FUN, LIVELY and INTERACTIVE format. All of the lessons and story problems are presented in unique and colorful settings with entertaining sound effects and visual elements.
