Description
This packet is a great independent, self-directed, and student driven summer work. It consists of a planning page for students to identify three books they will read over the summer, identify pages they will read per day. This is a great tool for students who have executive functioning goals to work on their planning out long term assignments skills and their ability to break down large assignments into chunks.
It also includes a summer reading log where they can track their daily reading.
Most importantly contains a set of 5 writing prompts based off of the elements of literature! These writing prompts can be used with any fiction piece and include requirements for students to utilize text elements as well as elaborate on their thinking.
