Description

This summer reading worksheet bundle has been created to meet the Common Core reading literature standards for grades 5-12. You can use each grade level worksheet with any assigned or independent novel of your choice. In previous years, my school has opted to assign one novel that is required for each student to read and then they must choose one-two novels from a pre-approved list created by the ELA department, school librarian, and the town librarian.

Please make your own copy of each Google Doc and share with students and parents to promote reading throughout the summer. Ask students to return worksheets within the first week of school to then create book talk discussions in small groups and whole class.
