Description

Hooray for Summer! This fun-filled resource will help your
soon-to-be second graders review and practice important math skills as the school year winds down. You can choose to use this packet during the last days of school, summer school, or you can send them home with your kiddos to keep their math skills sharp during summer break. ***Most of the worksheets include a Summer riddle or an interesting fact as a little bonus. They can find the answer to the riddles somewhere on the page.

*17 Worksheets that cover the following skills:

*Number Charts to 120 filled and unfilled- The filled chart can be used as a reference for those that still need it. I have also included a blank hundred’s chart in which students can practice writing numbers past 100, for example, 101-200, 201-300, etc…

*Word Problem Pages- There are a total of 10 word problems (5 pages) that include double digit addition, double digit subtraction, and adding 3 single digits.

*Board Games (3 included in black and white)- You will need to provide game pieces and dice. I have included a couple of spinners.

-Little Whale’s +10 and -10 Ocean Trip- Students will practice adding 10 to a number and subtracting 10 from a number.

-Ice Cream Walk- Students will practice saying a number represented by base ten blocks, base ten words, and expanded form.

-More and Less Fun in the Sun! -Students will practice adding 10 and 1 to a number, as well as subtracting 10 and 1 from a number.
