What educators are saying

My students used this to reflect on their learnings during conferences. It really helped them think about themselves and how much they grew from the beginning of the school year until now. I will definitely continue using this for future conferences.
Students enjoyed this activity to reflect and prepare for student led conferences. Took a lot of work off my plate to not have to sit down and invent from scratch!

Description

Interested in holding student-led conferences but don’t know where to begin? This template and guide makes conferences organized and stress-free. All resources are editable as well as come in both digital (Google Slides) and printable versions.

Why hold student-led conferences? They give students a sense of empowerment and confidence over their learning! Students reflect on their work/behavior while preparing for the conference. The presentation template provides guiding prompts to help foster this reflection. Parents involvement also tends to increase as a result of their child leading the conference.

This resource comes with two main materials: (1) student presentation template and (2) preparing for the presentation/guide for both teachers and students. The guide is what differentiates this product from others. Explicit directions on how to fill-in the template slides are included. This makes preparation a lot less overwhelming for students and teachers new to student-led conferences.
