Give students practice with matching state names and abbreviations and states and capitals with 5 in a Row. Repetitive, engaging practice help students master memorization activities. These games make practicing state abbreviations and state capitals fun and engaging for students!

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

Each of the game versions includes the abbreviations pages. The State Name game displays the full state name and students match the corresponding state abbreviation to play. The State Capitals game gives the state capital and students match to the corresponding state abbreviation on their gameboard.

This no-prep blackline game is ready for playing. Just print, cut, and play, or copy on colored paper and laminate for future use. The corresponding Powerpoint file manages the game all on its own. Click the button to randomize the order and push start, and it will play and display. It can be randomized for every play, keeping the game fresh and fun for students. With only 15 states on the game card, students can quickly find and identify the numbers. There are 30 different game cards included so you can even use them in large class sizes. Complete setup directions are included. Note: The game is self timed at 9 seconds per slide with varied timings per game due to the complexity of the skill, but you can change the length of the timing in the same way you'd change any slide timing in Powerpoint.

Please note: This may not work with Powerpoint compatible programs. Please only purchase it if you have Powerpoint. It will not work on Powerpoint 2008 for Macs.
