    Description

Trying to squeeze some social skills and some fun into an already-packed school day? These plays help build reading fluency, oral speaking, reading comprehension, and prediction, as well as building social skills and group dynamics! Plus, the children really enjoy them!

Why use Starring Character: A Reader's Theater Bundle with a Twist? It’s tough to find time to teach social skills in the classroom, yet these skills are essential for students to be successful. These short plays give the children the opportunity to think about and discuss important social skills while practicing reading skills at the same time!

How it works: Kids LOVE Reader's Theater, and each of these resources has five short plays with a twist: the audience and the actors are encouraged to create the ending themselves, using kindness, empathy, and respect as their goal.

What’s included: Each set has 5 different scripts. All scripts have 3 or 4 characters. The situations are those students can definitely relate to. No costumes or sets are necessary, as all skits take place at school!
