St. Patrick's Day PowerPoint with Comprehension Questions & Printable Awards

Your students will be instantly engaged by this St. Patrick's Day PowerPoint by Lucky Leprechaun who has "snuck in" to the classroom to teach them about his favorite holiday. He motivates the students to learn the information by challenging them to comprehension questions where they can earn some of his gold.

This PowerPoint presents information on the origin of St. Patrick's Day, how the holiday came to America, American St. Patrick's Day traditions, the legend of the leprechaun, what makes the color green, and what makes a rainbow.

The interactive comprehension questions check students' understanding by having Lucky Leprechaun ask them questions. When a correct answer is clicked, Lucky Leprechaun will appear along with a "cha-ching" sound and tosses a gold coin from his pot. When an incorrect answer is clicked, an unhappy face with an "Oops try again" message is displayed.
