Decide which of the BINGO games you want to use (St. Patrick’s Day “Regular” BINGO or the St. Patrick’s Day “Gold” BINGO):
- St. Patrick’s Day “Regular” BINGO- This is similar to the typical BINGO, except for the fact that instead of reading off B, I, N, G, or O- you will use the letters G, O, L, and D. Students win by getting a traditional BINGO (down, up, diagonal, postage stamp, four corners, etc.).
- St. Patrick’s Day “Gold” BINGO- This is similar to the typical BINGO, except for the fact that instead of reading off B, I, N, G, or O- you will use the letters G, O, L, and D. Students win by getting a traditional BINGO (down, up, diagonal, postage stamp, four corners, etc.), spelling the word “LUCK”, and “catching” three leprechauns. A student helper sheet can be used for this game (if desired). If a word is read off and the student has the word and a leprechaun is on the pot of gold, then he/she has “caught” one of three leprechauns. Also, each pot of gold has a letter (L, U, C, or a K). In addition to getting BINGO and catching three leprechauns, students also must spell the word “LUCK” before winning.
