What educators are saying

My students really enjoyed this activity! great for practice / engaging! It was a great 3 part project! Hung this up on. a bulletin and students were proud of their work.
I do these every spring and my students always love coming up with their own numbers and coloring them!

Description

This Spring place value craft makes an amazing bulletin board or hallway display! It is the perfect way to show off your students' math skills through a fun, colorful, art activity. I know my students are instantly engaged any time we do an art activity or craft project, so why not incorporate some math practice?!

This craftivity is super LOW PREP! All you need to do is copy the template of your choice and provide some construction paper! (you could even skip the construction paper on the rainbow and butterfly)

It is also easy to differentiate for your students with this craft. You can give all students the same amount of tens and ones or vary the amount based on their ability. You could give all students 'teen' numbers to work with, or some in the teens, some 20s, some 30s etc. to have a variety.
