Description
Teaching geometry and working on lines of symmetry this Spring? Get your students engaged with 5 spring-themed line of symmetry drawing activities. This resource is a perfect winter math center, a visual art lesson, a no-prep early finisher activity, or even a no prep sub plan activity!
There are 5 different drawings included in this resource: a bunny, rainboots and an umbrella, a bee, a butterfly, and a rainbow with a flower.
Some of my favorite ways to use this resource are...
- Use one drawing per week at a math center in March or April
- Early finisher packet
- A fun way to fill transition times
- Free-choice activity
- Print and go sub plans
- Bulletin board worthy work
This resource includes 5 different drawings, each with 4 varying levels of difficulty to suit the needs of every learner in your class!
- Level 4 (hardest) - traditional line of symmetry drawing.
- Level 3 - some support provided
- Level 2 - tracing the symmetrical side
- Level 1 - color the drawing so it looks the same on both side
- A completed and colored teacher sample is also provided so you won't need to be frantically completing one yourself while also inhaling a sandwich during lunch ;)
