What educators are saying

These are so cute, and I love that the targets are printed directly on the page. Kids loved using paint daubers with them!

Description

Hello! I created these materials because I wanted to use articulation materials that were related to our current theme or time of year. This seems to make articulation practice more motivating for students and helps with generalization! I also like quick activities that I can print off without using too much ink. I love to use these activities as home programming.

I mainly use this activity for articulation practice. Each sound is targeted in the initial, medial and final word positions. The blends are targeted only in the initial word position. My students like to do this activity differently. Some kids just color in the circles and other kids color in the full arch! We have used daubers, crayons, markers, and colored pencils. It’s especially fun with Mr. Sketch smelly markers! I have even laminated this activity for use with dry-erase markers. I have also colored and laminated this for use with playdough.

There are many ways that you can use these activities, here are a few ideas:
Practice articulation at the word, phrase, sentence or conversational level
Labeling
Asking WH- Questions (“What color is the star?”)
Following Directions (“Color the turtle green.”)
