Spot It - (Shabbat Edition)

This is the well know family game we all love Spot It!

But, instead of random symbols, this edition has a Shabbat theme. That means that all the symbols have a relevance to Shabbat ( and some chamsas/magin davids ;)

We played this game to teach the children about the many different parts of Shabbat in the most fun way. Although that some symbols may seem like they have no relevance it's up to the children to try think of it's connection.

Example: the Dress symbol... can you think of the connection? A: It is a Mitvzah to dress up and look your best for the Shabbat. the Broom Stick... any thoughts? A: That's right before Shabbat comes we prepare the house so it's spic n' span for the Shabbat queen.

This game is great since the children are probably already familiar with it, its the same rules, just different symbols.
