Spanish 1 Phrase of the Week List (Español 1 frase de la semana)

This is a list of 36 key phrases that Spanish 1 students will need and want to learn to actually SPEAK the language. These are phrases that are usually not explicitly taught by our curriculums or textbooks, but that we try to incorporate into our classes as we develop real speakers of Spanish. I give my students one a week to use in authentic ways to earn tickets towards our Friday Ticket Drawing. I included a description with more details on how I use these phrases of the week, but feel free to use them in your own creative way, too!
