Space Exploration: October Sky & Rocket Boys (The Science Behind the Story)

A teacher/student guide to use with the novel October Sky/Rocket Boys written by Homer Hickam. Includes pre-reading questions, chapter by chapter vocabulary, science concepts and discussion questions. Also includes a 35 question quiz to use after reading the novel (multiple choice, matching and short answer questions).

I use this guide for with my students while we read the novel aloud in class. We also watch the movie after completing the novel to compare the similarities and differences between the novel and the movie.
