What educators are saying

I no longer use a sound wall in this way, but for those doing the Sound Valley display this is well designed!
I cannot say enough good things about the resource! It has been so helpful in my classroom of third graders. It is a resource students always look to when spelling and decoding. I love how it also includes the soft g and c rule, and the floss rule.

Description

This science of reading resource contains phonics cards for over 100 phonograms. These phonics cards can be posted as a sound wall for reference in the classroom, or used one at a time to introduce each sound as you teach it. They can be arranged into a vowel valley and consonant chart, or arranged by phonics pattern. Individual sound wall pages are included as well!

These explicit phonics cards/posters can be used with any structured literacy approach that follows the science of reading!

Included are both full page posters and two versions of four-to-a-page cards. There also is a set of cards included that contain the graphemes only, without the keywords and pictures, for when students are ready to recall phonemes without the visual cues.

Finally, there are individual sound walls, and labels and examples of how to organize a classroom sound wall!

I hope you find these useful for your phonics instruction!
