    Description

Get 3 great games at a fraction of the individual price with this bundle. Games include: Solar System BINGO, "I have, who has? Solar System game, and Space Jeopardy (you will need powerpoint to open this file).

Here is a description of each of the games included:

    Solar System BINGO

A fun lesson in vocabulary to use for a unit on the solar system, the universe and outer space. Students will love this interactive game. My students love Bingo games and it is a fun and easy way to differentiate learning in my Special Education classroom. Great for students with Autism or developmental disabilities. Set includes 16 Bingo boards (all different) and one set of calling cards.

    Vocabulary:

    sun

    Mercury

    Venus

    Earth

    Uranus

    Neptune

    Pluto

    moon

    stars

    asteroids

    solar system

    solar eclipse

    lunar eclipse

    space station

    space

    space shuttle

    astronaut

    shooting star

    Differentiation:

~Use as a matching game for students still learning matching skills and the basics of how to play Bingo

~give clues about the picture to see if students can recall the information taught in previous lessons

I would suggest printing, cutting and laminating the Bingo boards for durability.

"I have, who has?" Solar System game:

This has become one of my favorite new games to play with my class. It is a great assessment tool to see if student's are understanding and remembering vocabulary in a fun and unique way.

Each student is given a card. The first card is numbered 1 so you know where to begin. So the first child reads his card "I have Mercury. Who has the second planet from the sun and also the hottest planet?" The student who has Venus would answer "I have Venus." Then read the rest of their card. Play continues until all cards are read. This set includes 16 cards.

Vocabulary is: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, comet, moon, asteroid, astronaut, solar system, shooting star and the sun.

Variation: You could play this with small groups and give students multiple cards at a time.

    Space Jeopardy:

A fun and exciting way to get students to recall information taught in previous lessons about Space and the Universe and assess what they remember. This Jeopardy game includes music, five categories, double jeopardy, a final question and an answer key for teachers. It can also be customized to meet your needs. Edit any question or category to meet the needs of your class and student population.

The categories included in this game are as follows:

    The Planets

    The Moon

    Space Tools

    The Earth

    The Sun

My students loved this game and were excited to show off what they learned! I teach in a Special Education self-contained classroom with students with developmental disabilities. Therefore, this Jeopardy game is geared for students functioning at a Pre-K, K, or 1st grade level but as mentioned can be adapted to meet the needs of your students simply by editing.

Please make sure you have Power Point on your computer prior to downloading or file will not open or be able to be edited.

Teacher answer key will open in Microsoft Word.
