Your students will learn about the order of the planets, read articles and complete crossword puzzles about each planet!

This unit consists of a cover page, a display of the order of the planets and a blank one to fill in. I have also included an article about each of the planets and a crossword that follows each article. Answers to the crosswords can be found in the articles.

At the end of the unit there is a study guide and test that outlines what the students are expected to learn from the unit.

This unit can be fast paced or slower. For younger grades, I would recommend doing an introduction day and then one planet a day.

This unit can be used completely independently! No other resources are needed!

When using this unit, I do recommend having students watch videos about each planet or the solar system as a whole. This will increase engagement and interest in your students.
