What educators are saying
Description
This "print and go" lesson includes an original, comprehensive 2-page reading that covers solar eclipses. The reading explains them and then takes a look at how different cultures throughout time viewed them (from myths, legends, fear, beliefs, and cosmological).
The lesson includes two activity options!
Option 1: Less rigorous. Students create a comic strip (template provided!) where they depict each of the cultures, our own included!
Option 2: More rigorous. Students answer document-based questions (key included).
You can assign 1 or both!
*If you are doing this lesson on 4/8 to recognize the solar eclipse, - I totally recommend snagging some solar eclipse glasses off amazon! Your administration might even purchase them for you (they are inexpensive).
Please take a moment to leave a review, TPT will give you credits towards a future TPT purchase!
