This easy to use Social Skills Assessment is in a checklist format and was created to help identify the areas where students need improvement with their social skills. This informal assessment is helpful to give to a student’s teacher(s) and/or parent(s) when social skills are expressed as an area of concern. This assessment is also helpful for school counseling staff to help determine social skill areas to focus on during either individual or group school counseling sessions. This assessment can be used to monitor social skill progress and is especially helpful for RTI purposes.
