What educators are saying

This activity was great. My students loved the chance to creatively connect with our novel. Thank you!
My students are loving the discussions and the learning around social media and this tool is perfect!

Description

This is a fun activity that can be used with ANY text! Students create social media profiles for characters based on direct and indirect evidence from the text. Students will also use inference skills to determine which "sign" belongs on their character's profile page. In addition to these, you can also assign a real or hand-drawn social media story activity in which students create a story to represent elements of literature found in the text. The possibilities are endless because the story element file is editable!

This lesson and be printed and used for drawing, or it can be used digitally in Google classrooms, Microsoft classrooms, or any LMS.
