    Description

Includes 9 resources for Social Emotional Learning.

Brain breaks and social emotional learning ( SEL ) are both so important for our students. Whether it is a movement activity to release energy or a breathing activity to refocus this Mindfulness and Movement Bundle has everything you need.  Teaching them how to self-regulate can not only help in the classroom but throughout life.  These mindfulness posters and mindfulness activities are perfect for this.

This bundle also includes movement cards with pictures so that students can release energy and return to work.  All of these resources can be used whole class or by individuals.  Many teachers use these resources to create a mindfulness space where students can go when they need a chance to refocus.

Both the breathing and movement activities have been shown to boost academic achievement and support development of a calmer classroom.  They are great community building activities too!  These resources promote social emotional learning and supports children in developing a peaceful classroom.

Save 15% by purchasing the Bundle!

Mindfulness Activities and Movement Cards Bundle includes:

    • 5 days of suggested sequencing for mindfulness activities
    • Poems and greetings in English and Spanish
    • Describing the breath
    • Movement Cards with pictures to illustrate the movements
    • List of books for children and adults who care for them
    • Loving kindness meditation in 2 variations
    • Mindfulness STOP poster
    • Mindfulness art activity

A great way to use these resources is to start as a class as students are learning the mindfulness activities.  Then move them into a special place in the room where students can go as needed to refocus and then return to work.  This makes a simple way to teach students self-regulation skills.  You can also guide students to the center and give them an opportunity to put these mindfulness and movement activities into action in lieu of time out, changing their color on a behavior chart, or receiving a behavior consequence.  A great addition to any classroom management plan!

The picture prompts make these resources accessible to students of all ages and abilities, nuerodivergent and ESL / ELL students.
