Description
Snowflake Bentley Comprehension is the perfect companion to the biography, Snowflake Bentley by Jacqueline Briggs Martin.
- Read and discuss the OBJECTIVE and VOCABULARY POSTERS prior to reading Snowflake Bentley.
- Use the POST-IT NOTE TEMPLATE to print the POST-IT NOTE DISCUSSION POINTS on sticky notes. Stick the Post-it Notes on the corresponding pages of the book to use as a reminder for stopping points to discuss the story and monitor comprehension. You do not need to touch upon all of them. Pick and choose what works for you. Also, some Post-its give examples on how you might model your thinking as you read. These are just examples. Adapt them and model your own thoughts. An ANSWER KEY is included!
- Use the Snowflake Bentley ASSESSMENT to monitor your kiddos' comprehension. An ANSWER KEY is included for this as well.
