Description
This lesson was used as additional reinforcement for a unit on health and wellness for Special Education students. Specifically this lesson covers:
1. tools and other things you may see when you go to the doctor's office (this is a sorting activity where students can sort pictures into things a doctor uses vs. things not used by a doctor)
2. A series of yes/no questions about being sick. (This part includes 8 slides each with one question. For example: "Are you sick if you have a fever?" or "When I am sick I should run around an play?". The students will answer the question and pick the thumbs up or thumbs down. Correct answer have an audience applause, incorrect answers have a buzzer sound).
These are both fun activities that you can use to supplement your unit on being sick and going to the doctors.
