What educators are saying

Great matching game! Students were able to work together to match the equation, graph and table. Really helps to bring it all together for the kids.
This activity worked perfectly and allowed me to assess my students on tables, graphs and equations. Thank you!

Description

Algebra Slope Intercept Form Linear Functions Card Sort Activity

Students will get to deepen their knowledge of linear functions by sorting three representations for each function: a graph, table and an equation.

Compare properties of two functions each represented in a different way (algebraically, graphically, numerically in tables, or by verbal descriptions). For example, given a linear function represented by a table of values and a linear function represented by an algebraic expression, determine which function has the greater rate of change.
Construct linear and exponential functions, including arithmetic and geometric sequences, given a graph, a description of a relationship, or two input-output pairs (include reading these from a table).
