How To Use: Poster Prompt

The poster prompt is the perfect hook to get your students excited for the day’s sketchbook lesson. You can show your students by either laminating and posting in your classroom, or projecting during the lesson. This sets the standard for completeness of work, quality, and experimentation expected.

You can use only the poster prompt for your lessons, or use it with the glue-in prompt to allow students to see a larger scale version of the image of their glue-in prompt.

How To Use: Glue-In Prompt

The glue-in sketchbook prompt is perfect for students to turn their sketchbook page into an assignment page. This give students a reference for what they are creating, and easily allow them to label their pages to allow for multi-day completion of the assignment.

You will never have to look back and check what each page should have been in the sketchbooks! You can have students glue assignments to the opposing page (usually you draw on the right side of the sketchbook so this could be glued to the left), or to the top of the sketchbook page. Students will also be able to reference the thumbnail example to further allow them to understand what they are to be creating.
