Size of the Problem and Reaction Social Lesson

You need this because you know every single one of your students is overreacting to problems they are having (just save you the sanity and buy this). This is a great way to teach students to identify problems and how to respond appropriately to them! This helps facilitate problem solvers and more independence among students!

THIS IS 2 WEEKS WORTH OF LESSON PLANS. Yes, a stress-free, low-prep and high engagement way to teach social skills. Here is what is included:

1.) Size of the Problem PowerPoint: A 10 day social lesson on introducing different sizes of the problem, examples, how to react, who can help solve the problem and problem solving.

2.) Size of the Problem Packet: A student packet that goes along with the 10 day social lesson. Students will complete group/independent work each day after the lesson. (color and black & white version)

3.) Coloring by Scenario: Read through scenarios and color them based on what size problem they are.

4.) Clip Cards: Size of the problem clip cards (40 scenarios).

5.) Cut and Paste: A cut and paste sheet to practice identifying size of the problem.

6.) Size of the Reaction PowerPoint: A size of the reaction powerpoint where students will understand how to react to problems through video reflections and social scenarios!

7.) Size of the Reaction Packet: A student led packet that goes along with the PowerPoint.

8.) Reaction Task Cards: Size of the problem appropriate reaction cards (40 scenarios)

9.) Cut and Paste: A cut and paste activity focusing on how you would react!

10.) How would you react?: 2 worksheets where you students will read scenarios and write out how they would react!

11.) Size of the Reaction Game: A 20 slide PowerPoint game where students will read social scenarios and decide the best way to respond given 2 different reactions. Includes a self-checker during the game!

12.) Lesson Plans: lesson plans to go with both the size of the problem and the size of the reaction activities!

13.) Bingo: Size of the problem bingo!
