Once variables are added to math, I feel like I completely lose my students. Especially with more than one step to solve. They get very confused. They get frustrated. At times they even shut down.

I needed to break this down for them, in an easier to understand way. My Simplifying Expressions & Evaluating Equation Flip Books did just that. I have students in my Learning Support classroom, as well as in a co-taught math classroom, that these were geared for. They needed something that was easy to keep. We love 3-hole punching them for our binders.
