Silabas Abiertas Digital Game (Spanish)

This Digital Open Syllables Game is an interactive and super engaging way to get children interested in reading open syllables. The game consists of 24 questions. Students are prompted with a photo as well as audio which states the vocabulary word, and the instructions. They are to read and choose the correct beginning syllable that matches the picture.

IMPORTANT: This game is ONLY compatible with devices that have Microsoft PowerPoint (iPads included). If you don't have access to devices with Microsoft PowerPoint this game is not compatible for you. This game is not-editable.

How to use this game in your classroom?

• Guided Reading Groups & Small Groups - Use this game as a tool for reading practice in the classroom on iPads with small groups, walk them through how to get started, and then let them try on their own!
• Whole Group Play - Display the game onto a projector and model how to play the game, and then call students up to try and answer the questions for an interactive play.
