This editable Fist Bump Classroom Display can be customized to fit your students' needs. This ultimate bundle includes editable PDFs for sight words, beginning sounds, high frequency words, spelling words, math facts: including addition fact practice, subtraction practice, multiplication practice, division practice, and an editable version so that you can customize to fit your own needs! The students simply say the answer when they fist bump the display.
How Does It Work?
Print out the fist displays you want to use. Use one by your classroom door to use as an entry and exit pass. You can also set up as entry and exit tickets around the school where your class goes (the cafeteria, the playground door, the library, the computer lab).
Want more than just an entry/exit ticket? Print multiples to put around the room for a center activity. In fact, this could become a consistent, year-long center activity. Leave the fists up all year but just change the target word, math fact, or skill.
Still not sure? How about creating a class Fist Bump Book! Add it to your classroom library and let students read it and fist bump their way through reading time. There are so many ways you could use the fist bump activity. Do what works best for your classroom, your schedule, and your students!
What is included?
- Editable PDFs - Open each PDF in an Adobe Reader. You can search through Google to find a free one if you don't already have one.
- Real-life pictures for 'beginning sounds'. These pictures coordinate with my Alphabet Decor Set and would work GREAT as a companion product. I use these in class during the first month of kindergarten to help students recognize beginning sounds. For example, if the picture on the 'fist' is an apple - I would model the behavior by saying, "ah-ah-apple" and then fist bump.
- This product also includes four skin tones and a black and white version.

Teacher Tips:
- Print several of these out and display them around the room!
- Use these to help practice weekly spelling tests
- Use this as a countdown! You can use the editable version and title it 'Fist Bump and Countdown to (fill in the blank). Each day, change the number to one less.
- Get your students up and moving and have them practice their math facts around the room.
