Description

I created this short and long vowel color sorting activity for my students to practice sorting the sounds of short vs. long (vowel-consonant-e) words. Students read each word and if it is a short vowel, such as bat, they color it red. If it is a long vowel with a VCe patter, such as tape, then they color it blue. Great practice for morning work, seatwork during centers, morning work, etc. Check out all of my other short vs. long vowel sound sorts as well and phonics/spelling activities! Thanks!
