I created these fun phonics and spelling activity for my students to practice reading words and determining if they contain the Short or Long vowel sound featured on each sheet--A, E, I, O or U. They color the words one color for Short vowel words, and another color for Long vowel words. A fun practice worksheet to use for morning work or seatwork during literacy stations/Daily 5. I use this in 2nd grade at the beginning of the year to review 1st grade spelling concepts.
