Description
I made these cards for some of my lower, struggling readers. They needed extra repeated practice decoding words CVC words and reading sight words from the preprimer and primer Dolch sight word lists.
These cards are great to use in small groups, during RTI, as an independent fluency center, or as a homework assignment. By repeated reading, students practice the sentence in segments until they read the whole sentence. This is a great way to build fluency and automaticity with recalling sight words and CVC words.
You will find 22 cards for each short vowel for a total of 110 task cards. The cards are provided in color and a black and white version for those that want to save ink.
