FANTASTIC FEATURE #1 – Endless Combinations
Choose any combination of vowel sounds to sort!
FANTASTIC FEATURE #2 – Increase Difficulty
Choose up to three sounds to sort at once! This feature makes it easy to increase the difficulty of the game as your students progress throughout the year. Choose three sounds to make the game more challenging.
FANTASTIC FEATURE #3 – Editable Word Lists
You can edit the word lists to choose the exact words that you want to practice. Simply uncheck a word to remove it from the list. The words will randomize so that the game is always different and fun.
FANTASTIC FEATURE #4 – Self Correcting
Students will know right away if they have sorted the picture correctly. If correct, the picture will snap in place. If incorrect, the picture will return to the bottom of the screen.
FANTASTIC FEATURE #5 – Spelling Practice
After the pictures have been sorted, students can touch the picture to reveal the spelling of the word. This works great if you have students write the words on a whiteboard or piece of paper and then they can check their spelling by touching each image to reveal the word.
FANTASTIC FEATURE #6 – Ten Fun Themes
I have included ten different themes to choose from so that you can surprise your students with fun monster characters that dress up for the holidays. The themes are: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Winter, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Superhero, Pirate, Western and plain Monster. Your students will love the silly monster characters and the fun scrapbook theme!

This game runs directly from the pinkcatgames.com website. The website was created so that you can easily play and manage your Pink Cat Games. The website also allows you to easily save game settings with the option to assign games to students and groups. The first time that you visit the website you will be asked to create an account to manage your games. The following browsers are supported: Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Safari.
How to Play
Whole Class Cooperation
The class works together sorting words on the interactive whiteboard. Have one student at a time come up to the interactive whiteboard and sort a picture by touching and dragging the picture to an empty space for that vowel sound.
Small group or single player – Played on a tablet or computer workstation, PC or Mac
Start the game on a tablet or computer and allow the student(s) to play for a certain length of time.
