What educators are saying

This was great for my middle school EFL learners to practice reading for detail! I'm really happy with the resource, and will definitely use it again!
I needed a quick resource for a substitute. This fit the bill as being worthwhile and easy to print and go.

Description

This two page, 50 question, open book scavenger hunt follows the story in chronological order. Students have to find answers as they read or reread the story. This activity forces students to search for details as they skim through the text. It works well as either a silent, individual directed reading or as a quiet partner assignment. It can also be given as homework or an open book quiz. This is an add water and stir lesson plan, easy for the teacher and with a high effectiveness index for students. It keeps them on task and improves reading comprehension. A two page answer KEY is provided, making this four pages total. Please do not share the KEY.
