Description
This Service Learning Project is a cross curricular activity that is meant to help a zoo and build community within the school. The teacher can begin by reaching out to a local zoo and let them know that you will be fundraising for their establish. This document includes templates and google forms to implement a zoo based coin challenge, directions for a STEM animal math project, invitations and directions for a School Based Zoo using the STEM project to promote the fundraiser and build community, and a nonfiction writing template for animal research that can be read and share with a younger grade level (Such as read to your 1st grade buddies).
