Description

This no-prep September 11th Patriot Day math activity helps students learn facts about the events that unfolded on September 11th, 2001. They will solve math problems to reveal factual information about the attacks.

There are 3 differentiated levels to choose from. Students' answers are then compared to a key which will reveal the final message of, "We Remember." This resource is suited for grades 3rd - 8th and is a print-and-go activity.

This activity makes a great independent task, partner activity, or group activity. Consider using it for morning work, a Patriot Day-themed center activity, or math task.

The Three Levels Included:

Level 1: Reviews elapsed time, problem solving, and multi-digit addition and subtraction (2-4 digits).

Level 2: Reviews elapsed time, problem solving, and multi-digit multiplication and division. (1-4 digits).

Level 3: Reviews elapsed time, problem solving, and order of operations.
